3D Printing
Our advanced PolyJet 3D printers, combined with AI-assisted medical image segmentation, fabricate realistic anatomical models enhanced by a proprietary algorithm that mimics tissue mechanics. With applications in New Alternative Methods (NAMs) for medical device testing, surgical planning, patient education, and medical training, our team provides expert support to researchers, clinicians, industry partners, and trainees.
Services
3D Printing provides image-based design, patient-specific modeling, and 3D biomaterial printing. The services and resources provided by 3D Printing are targeted to developing new medical devices/implants/scaffolds. These services and expertise include:
- Designing devices directly from patient images
- Simulating the physical behavior of the designed devices in the patient
- Fabricating these devices directly using 3D printing techniques
- Evaluating the fabricated devices to ensure they meet design requirements
