Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

The MRI Core Facility has a 7T pre-clinical MRI scanner using advanced MRI techniques. The core frequently supports biomedical research, such as the development of new contrast agents. The MRI core facility is actively involved in hardware developments focusing on the combination of MRI with other techniques such as ultrasound.

Services

Our services include advanced imaging services, specializing in molecular and cardiac imaging, contrast agent development, and biomedical engineering studies. Equipped with a Bruker Pharmascan 7T system, the facility supports imaging with high-resolution capabilities, anesthesia units, and monitoring systems. Training and assistance are available by appointment.
