Molecular Evolution
The Molecular Evolution Core provides expertise in large-scale library construction and characterization for evolutionary experiments. The Core also supports custom cloning and display platforms (phage, yeast, bacterial), plus in-house oligonucleotide and peptide synthesis. A CLIA certified lab within Molecular Evolution designs and runs high-complexity tests for the Georgia Tech community.
Services
Our services include comprehensive sequencing services, including next-generation sequencing with Illumina MiniSeq, MiSeq, NextSeq, and HiSeq 2500 for whole-genome, targeted, RNASeq, and exome projects. Services include sample QC, library prep, and sequencing. Additional capabilities include Sanger sequencing with SeqStudio, whole plasmid sequencing with bioinformatics analysis, and automated gel extraction using Blue Pippin for precise fragment collection.
