Optical Microscopy

The Optical Microscopy Core at Georgia Tech provides researchers across academia and industry with advanced imaging technologies, expert training, and personalized support. Our diverse suite of microscopes, including several that are the only ones of their kind in the region, empowers discoveries from nanoscale structures to dynamic live-cell imaging.

Services

Our services include advanced imaging technologies, including confocal (point scanning and spinning disk), 2-photon, super-resolution, lightsheet, darkfield, and widefield systems. Researchers receive expert training and consultation to enable nanoscale imaging and dynamic live-cell studies, supported by unique instruments not available elsewhere in the region.
